Key facts
- Credits are spent when you generate a song, not when you download it.
- No plan has a monthly download allowance, and downloading never draws on your credit balance.
- Downloaded files carry no watermark.
- Songs made on the Free plan are licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
Where to download your songs
Every finished song has a download button on the result page, and the same songs can be downloaded again later from My Songs.
A generation returns two versions, and each one can be downloaded on its own. Downloading a song you already made again does not spend credits, so you can grab a copy for each device you use. Download the songs you want to keep, so you always have your own copy.
What you can do with a Free-plan song
Free-plan songs come with a personal-use license: you can listen, download, share, and modify them for personal purposes.
That covers things like a birthday song for a friend, a song played at a private family event, or a demo you keep for yourself. Monetized videos, ads, client work, and paid releases need an active Creator or Studio plan at the time the song is generated, and the Free plan does not include a PDF License Certificate.
What actually limits how many songs you make
Downloads are not what limits you; generation is. Credits are spent when you start a generation, and Free accounts are also subject to fair-use safety limits on generation. If one applies, you will see it when you try to generate, and you can check back later or get credits to keep creating.
Every new account gets starter credits, with check-ins available for more Free credits. A standard generation uses 10 credits, and if a generation fails or times out because of a system error, the credits are refunded automatically. When your balance runs out, you can subscribe for monthly credits or buy a one-time Credit Pack.
What to do next
