Creating songs
What you can bring to a song: your own lyrics, a name and memories, or a style you like.
- Can I use my own lyrics?Yes. Paste lyrics you wrote into Custom Mode or Text to Song and GoAISong sets them to music.
- Can I upload a famous song to cover it?No. AI Cover only works on audio you own or are licensed to use; make an original song in that style instead.
- Can I make a song with someone's name?Yes. Enter their name, the occasion, and a few memories, and the AI writes original lyrics around them.
Downloads & credits
What downloading costs, how credits are spent, and how to get more without a plan.
- Can I download songs on the Free plan?Yes. Free accounts can download every song they generate, and downloading does not use credits.
- How do credits work?One standard song generation uses 10 credits and returns two versions; downloading and listening are free.
- Can I buy credits without a subscription?Yes. The one-time Credit Pack adds 150 credits, valid for 90 days, with no subscription needed.
Rights & licensing
Who owns a generated song, where commercial use is covered, and what the certificate records.
- Who owns the songs I make?GoAISong does not claim ownership of your songs; you use them under a license that depends on your plan.
- Can I use songs in monetized YouTube videos?Yes, for songs made while you have an active Creator or Studio plan; Free-plan songs are personal use only.
- Can I use songs in client work and ads?Yes, for songs made on an active Creator or Studio plan, with each song covered for one end client.
- Do I get a license certificate?Yes, on Creator and Studio: songs you make while subscribed come with a downloadable PDF License Certificate.
