Key facts
- AI Cover and Song Extender accept only audio you own or have the rights to transform.
- GoAISong does not clone real artists' voices.
- Prompts may not name specific artists or producer tags; describe the sound instead.
- Lyrics copied from a released song can be rejected; write your own words on the same theme.
Make an original song in the same style
Describe what you like about the song, and generate a new one that goes in that direction.
The AI Song Generator turns a description into a full song with lyrics and vocals. If you have written your own lyrics, Text to Song sings them as written. Either way you get an original track rather than a version of the recording you had in mind.
| Instead of | Try |
|---|---|
| Uploading a chart hit to AI Cover | Describe its genre, tempo, era, and instruments in the AI Song Generator |
| Pasting the original lyrics | Write new lyrics on the same theme and paste them into Text to Song |
| Naming the singer in your prompt | Describe the vocal tone, such as a raspy male voice or a soft, airy female voice |
When AI Cover is the right tool
AI Cover is for restyling audio that is yours to transform.
That includes your own recordings, demos you made, and audio you are explicitly licensed to transform. By submitting audio you confirm you have those rights, and GoAISong does not clear third-party rights on your behalf.
Why the rule exists
A released recording, its lyrics, and an artist's voice belong to other people.
Reuploading another artist's recording and real-artist voice cloning are not allowed under GoAISong terms, and no GoAISong plan covers third-party material you bring into a song. An original song generated in GoAISong is covered by the license that comes with your plan.
What to do next
- Write down what you like about the song: genre, tempo, era, instruments, and mood.
- Put that description into the AI Song Generator, or write your own lyrics for Text to Song.
- Generate, compare the two versions, and refine the description if needed.
