Who owns the songs I make?

GoAISong does not claim ownership of the songs you generate. You use them under a license in the GoAISong terms: personal use on every plan, plus commercial use for songs created while you have an active Creator or Studio plan.

Key facts

  • The lyrics, prompts, and other input you write stay yours.
  • The license is non-exclusive and worldwide.
  • The AI can produce similar or identical output for different users, so a song is not guaranteed to be unique.
  • GoAISong does not register songs as works on your behalf.

What your license lets you do, by plan

Your plan at the moment a song is generated decides what you can do with that song.

Why "who owns it" has no one-word answer

Copyright rules for AI-generated audio differ between countries, platforms, and rights organizations, and they are still changing.

GoAISong does not settle that question for you, and it does not register works on your behalf. What it does provide is a written license in its terms, a clear statement that it does not claim ownership of your output, and, for subscribers, a PDF License Certificate that records which song was covered and when.

If a song matters to your business, such as a brand anthem or a national campaign, treat the generation as a starting point and add your own human authorship on top.

What stays your responsibility

The license covers the GoAISong-generated output, not the material you bring into it.

  • Audio you upload, lyrics you paste, and names or likenesses you include.
  • The rules of the platform where you publish, such as streaming services or YouTube Content ID.
  • Trademarks and rights of publicity that your input touches.

What to do next

  1. Decide whether the song is for personal use or for commercial use.
  2. For commercial use, subscribe to Creator or Studio before you generate the version you will publish.
  3. Keep the PDF License Certificate with your project files.
