Can I use songs in client work and ads?

Yes, for songs created while you have an active Creator or Studio plan. Covered songs can go into client deliverables and paid ads within GoAISong terms and each platform's own rules.

Key facts

  • For client work, the coverage travels with the deliverable to one end client.
  • Reselling the same song to several unrelated end clients is not covered by the self-serve plans.
  • Paid ads on Meta, Google, programmatic networks, and connected TV are covered for your campaign.
  • Songs made on the Free plan are personal use only and are not covered for client work or ads.

Common client and ad uses

Most agency, freelancer, and marketing uses are covered when the song was generated on Creator or Studio; two uses need more than a self-serve plan.

Hand the song over like a deliverable

A clear handoff saves questions later, for example when a client reuses a video in a new paid campaign.

  • The final audio file and the exported edit.
  • The prompt or lyrics you used and the date the song was generated.
  • The PDF License Certificate, which records the song, your plan, and when the license was granted.

Check what the client gives you

The license covers the GoAISong-generated output, not the material that goes into it.

If a brief includes a slogan, a person's name, a reference track, or uploaded audio, confirm the client has the rights to it. Do not prompt for a real artist's voice or style by name, and confirm each ad platform's current policy before the campaign launches.

What to do next

  1. Subscribe to Creator or Studio before generating songs for a client or a campaign.
  2. Generate a separate song for each client project and pick the version that fits.
  3. Deliver the audio together with its PDF License Certificate.
